Round Two of our Superluminal (or Bust) StarShip Design Collaboration has now been launched!
Round One of course was unprecedented and produced phenomenal results. I am sure the breadth & depth of our advances as we gain Momentum and new collaborators will be tenfold greater this Round!
Some of you know of the earliest days of the StarShip 'game', five decades ago when the 1st public StarShip study "Daedulus" was launched by the BIS, and also the L5 Society was launched by Gerry O'Neill. Both of which I joined then, as an undergraduate at the UC Space Sciences Lab. However Daedulus and subsequent 2009 Project Icarus were NOT designed to be high velocity, and were designed with VERY high drag! High plasma collision cross sections. So OUR global collaboration is the first in history to to design for near- or Superluminal-flight in the KNOWN AstroMagnetosphere 'Wind' environments of our Home Galaxy.
Where we are the Visionaries!
Thanks for the comments! I did seven versions of the prompt. I have added the final prompt to the description of the upload and will include it here as well. Took a lot of renders to come up with the final image.
