Should I just go swimming?

The stop at the beach was an unexpected surprise. The itinerary didn't mention it, but here she was enjoying a spontaneous moment along the beach at the edge of the water. The bigger surprise was how much she enjoyed getting caught a little too close to the waves. At first, only a little bit of her jeans were wet. But now she had gotten wet well above her knees. She loves how they looked where they were wet, shiny, and dark. To her surprise, she loved even more how they felt with her boots full of water and her jeans clinging to her. She had never swam like this before and was curious how the rest would look and feel. She debated to herself, "Should I just go swimming?" It seemed exciting and terrifying all out once. "Will I be cold? How long will it take to dry? I don't even have a towel!" She finally gave in. She was already wet. Why not experience getting everything wet. With one last look towards shore, she giggled and headed back into the surf.
