There once lived an artist in theater,
He painted stories one and all.
Mixing pigments within his heart,
From them masterpieces would fall.
He believed there were no chances random,
That life was given for love to live.
And in blue eyes one day, entranced,
He drowned his brushes, all to give.
He'd forgotten all his visions,
Bewitched by those priceless eyes.
And day after day went by him,
Much escaping his foggy plight.
But short was their path to bliss,
Falling painfully from the sky.
Forever etched in memory,
The evening all deceit came to light...
Painted red like blood's own hue,
A silhouette in crimson drawn.
Of those minutes, sunset's end,
And dawn's break forever gone.
I'm not afraid to fade away,
For I burned bright like fiery blaze.
With a single spark set alight,
You were able to warm my pains.
