Ah! It originally came out on PlayStation 2, but has made an appearance on every PlayStation since it seems. It also now available on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One as well as Windows PCs. It and it's actual legitimate sequel, X-2 (It was the first final fantasy game to get a direct sequel) were some of the last classic style final fantasy games before they started the MMO line. It was my first experience with a Final Fantasy game though, so it has a special place in my heart!
