I love reading about the gods and goddesses. Knowing their stories. They feel so rich and real. So human.

Yes, it's interesting. I even got a tip on this one, perhaps because she is rather unknown as a goddess. But she is definitely part of the Greek pantheon, and with possible pre-Olympian roots.

I wish I could tip! It's unfair that it's just a pro feature. Especial when I know you'd make much better use of the credits!

Electryone or Alectrona was a daughter of the sun god, Helios, and half-sister to Phaëthusa, Lampetia and Phaethon. She was particularly popular on the Greek island of Rhodes. Her mother was Rhode, the personification of the entire island. 
More than simply a goddess of sunrise (and unlike her aunt Eos, the goddess of dawn, who was more like a primordial universal law), Electryone was a personification of waking consciouness. It's possible Electryone is the pre-Olympian Sun Goddess Elektra (not the Pleiad of the same name) who was worshipped with particular zest on the islands of Rhodes and Samothrace.
