You find yourself back at the eerie square, feeling watched still. This time, the sound of leather boots on the cobblestones approach from behind, or perhaps you were facing the wrong way? The creepy townsman holds up the lantern. His eyes go milky white as he looks at your tribute. With an echoing voice, "The tribute is presented, it is seen. It is...acceptable. You may go and leave Innsmouth, but do never return." The man's eyes return and he takes your tribute. He slowly turns around and vanishes into the fog. As you start walking, you find yourself emerging near the bus stop after but 10 steps. You gladly leave the town behind.
