Created for a daily challenge. We were supposed to show what our ancestors thought the world would look like in 2025. I decided to concentrate on the computer side of things. This oil painting depicts a couple standing in awe before a massive steam-powered computer, surrounded by shelves of ancient tomes, flickering gas lamps, and intricate copper pipes, evoking a sense of nostalgia and intellectual curiosity in a retrofuturistic setting
