A rogue stain could bring shame upon the crown...and Kaiya was responsible. She checked the basket, a few stray socks and a tunic needing mending. "Another cycle," she muttered, adjusting her shield against the wall. It wasn't glorious work…but it was necessary. The kingdom needed clean clothes, after all. And someone had to make sure those washing machines didn’t malfunction...a broken machine could cause chaos. She eyed a particularly loud one with suspicion...perhaps a quick inspection was in order before starting the next load.
