For my birthday a few years ago, my only birthday wish was to see how it felt to lay in a bathtub full of spaghetti. I spent most of the day cooking up the noodles in a very large pot, and right before the guests arrived, it was finally ready to make my dream come true. One of my friends graciously let me use their bathtub because I didn't have one at my house, and even though the roommates were a bit confused I charmed them with the allure of eating spaghetti from a bathtub, and they complied. A few close friends came to be witness to the glory, and all crowded into the small bathroom with spaghetti bowls in hand. I was the center of it all, my body surrounded by sticky, bouncy, starchy Dollar Store spaghetti. I Made My Dream Come True. 5.5/10, probably would not do it again.

If I were a mortal woman, I surely would have passed out from lack of oxygen after laughing so hard. Fortunately, I am a metaphorical figure who is free to laugh without limit. Poor, sweet, brilliant Iris…did you eat any of it? What about the squishing sounds? I can only imagine the squishing sounds.
