I'm thinking this could be a small army of youth in revolt against their society, which is corrupt and favors the rich and leaves the poor to rot. This creation reminds me of the novel Want by Cindy Pon, a fabulous YA read about a group of teens who live in a futuristic Taiwan that is infiltrated with deadly pollution. These teens are trying to take down the corrupt Jin corporation, which makes suits that only the rich can afford, and these suits enable them to live longer lives in their polluted city.
