With supper finished, the two teams went their separate ways. Edward collected Fairbairn and the two went to the tavern to help with the cleanup. Bjornson and Wright went to check the Perimeter. Larkin and McClendon went to their respective quarters. Eule sat in the refectory playing solitaire.
That left Helena by herself. She grabbed her breviary, her rosary and a prayer book along with her Zat, her comms and a flashlight (just to be on the safe side) and went into the Church. She went to the Martyr’s chapel to a Statue of the Blessed Mother (which looked like Our Lady of Mount Carmel). Helena lit a candle and prayed.
