Backstory: The Genesis of the First Bio-Predator In 2087, Genesis Corp, a private bioengineering conglomerate, launched Project Chimera aboard the Nyx-13 Orbital Laboratory. The goal: to create the ultimate biological weapon—one that could adapt to any environment, eliminate threats autonomously, and self-repair indefinitely.

Using recovered alien DNA fragments from an asteroid in the Lacerta Expanse, the corporation attempted to splice extraterrestrial genes with human, reptilian, and cephalopod DNA. After countless failures, the first viable organism was born: Subject-001, code-named "Nyx."

Nyx was never meant to survive beyond the test phase. But within days, it displayed rapid mutation, hunger-driven intelligence, and the ability to mimic its prey. Scientists tried to terminate it. They failed.

Now, only the dead remain aboard Nyx-13—and something far worse lurks in the shadows, evolving with every passing hour.
