Caught in the Rain

They had tried to sneak in a walk before the storm came. But the rain was closer than they anticipated, and they got caught. Too far away from anything to take cover, they walked as quickly as they could back to the car. Secretly, she was delighted about getting caught in the rain. The cool autumn afternoon storm was refreshing as it soaked her jacket and saturated her jeans. She hoped that by the time they reached the car, her sweater would join her now soaked jeans and jacket. He knew how much she was enjoying this and didn't rush her as they made their way to the car.
