Love the concept of a single leaf, with the barest hint of green still remaining.
Ahh…this is beautiful…I think my favourite piece in the gallery…love the lighting effects,translucency,colour,strong composition and its deceptive simplicity…reminds me of the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi - where everything is impermanent,etc..and finding beauty in decay..🍁⛩️…a leaf like this once drifted into my open window and settled in a rusty oven tin I had on my desk..the Autumn colours and the rust worked perfectly together,and I photographed them,as a perfect example of Wabi-sabi…🙂( I’ll shut up now😂 )
