“Sister Helena's sample is finished. Transmitting now.”
“Acknowledged. Data received. Thank you, Habibi.”
“My pleasure.” Tyra Motioned for Helena to join her by the Monitor. “Well, let’s see what the universe has delt you, Sister.” Tyla looked at the results. She did some cross checking and after a few minutes made her prognosis.
There is a Naquadah imbalance in your blood. We have several personnel at the SGC that have the ATA gene and that have Naquadah in their blood due to blending with a symbiote. For example, my sis has the Gene and is blended to Aspasia. Here, look at the two scans and blood tests on the monitor. Hmm… that's odd.”

“What's odd?” Sister Helena asked.
“It seems like there a compound in blood neutralizing the Naquadah,” Tyra replied.
“I have an inhibitor that Neutralizes the Naquadah. It was all the NID could do for me,” Helena said.
“I see. Well, let’s call Marcus in and give him the news,” Tyra went out of the room and a few seconds later.
“Whatcha got, kid?” Larkin asked as he entered the room. He stood next to Helena on her left while Tyra stood on her right.
“Sister Helena does have a Naquadah imbalance. A normal person with the Ancient Gene and Naquadah in their blood would have levels like this,” She showed Larkin Cate’s and Helena’s scans. “I’ve seen this once before. When I was a med student at the University of Colorado we had a similar case that I observed. He was a member of the Trust that turned himself in. He had the same condition as you; had the Naquadah transfusion and the gene.”
