She wanted to get close, a close as she could. She carefully made her way along the slick wet rocks, up to the edge of the falls. The water around the falls didn't look very deep so she carefully stepped in and got a little closer. She knew the rocks were slick and her boots didn't make it easy to navigate the slick rocks. As she got a little closer, she could feel the water splashing as she got closer. As she took another step, a rock shifted and she lost her balance reaching out to the rocks through the falls to steady herself. The water soaked her sleeves past her elbows. She felt the water soaking into her jeans and beginning to get into her boots. But instead of stepping back, she leaned in, letting the water cascade down soaking the front of her jeans and filling her boots. The water was cold, but she simply couldn't resist and turned around to lean against the rocks under the waterfall, letting the water cascade down over her. In seconds she was soaked and giggling with delight.
