The town of Whatmenot was known throughout the Inhospitable Region of the planet Vusek. It was bizarre because there was no way to conduct a decent conversation with its inhabitants.
In fact, to any question (indeed, to any phrase), they would reply, "What? Me not!" -- and so the wayfarer usually shrugged and went on, noticing only in passing the bold architecture and (undeniable) beauty of that very wacky town on the planet Vusek.
