Lily's, guided by the mysterious compass, found a way to an underground passage.
A glint of light caught her eye. A lone teddy bear lay slumped against the wall. A scream ripped from her throat as she saw the single, milky button eye staring back at her with an accusing emptiness.
Frozen in terror, her gaze darted across the wall opposite the bear. It was a faded picture with an eerie red glow. A woman, her face obscured by a grotesque mask, held aloft a gleaming knife, its tip dripping with a dark liquid. Below her, the lifeless form of a fat person, its pose and wound, mirrored the teddy bear. She came to a realization of what happened. She screamed and run faster than ever.
