King Temor The Kind, Durante dynasty

When his mother was pregnant with him, she was making a journey through her kingdom's lands. She wanted to see some ordinary folk and the peasants whose efforts, power and optimism helped the kingdom to thrive.

Her waters broke on the stop in Irondale. The capital was too far away, so she had to give birth there, in the barn yard. As a token of gratitude to the villagers who helped her first-born to come to life, she decided to call him Temor, a name that meant "iron" in her native Mongol.

Temor was a rare king who wanted to never resort to someone else's service. After every meal he would take all the dishes he used and washed up after himself. He made up his bed and even cleaned his chamber pot. He was often quoted as saying "Why would somebody else clean up the mess I've created?"

Some fellow kings and queens thought he was mad. Some servants worshipped him as a God of kindness.
