The Wrong Street

You swore you walked it a thousand times, yet you'd never seen it before. It was just barely off, the signs of the shops the smells. But weirder still, the lack of people.

You knew you'd been here every day for ten years but you'd never seen five shoe stores or a high rise of only meat processor plants; something was wrong, you had to get out. Every time you turned the corner you were back at that neon sign but something was different, more sinister. You felt it, closing in waiting to strike until finally you felt it nearly touch you as you rounded the final corner and...
