Idioms Properly Explained - "I'm as fine as frog's hair" : this is a southern American phrase meaning incredibly fine. Frogs don't have "hair" so it is indeed very fine (bald and smooth). Also, there is a species called "wolverine" frog, horror frog or hairy frog (all one species) that the males grow hair like appendages in their legs and lower body, but only during mating season. This is where the phrase "you feeling froggy?" Comes from. It can be used to express excitement or aggression as male frogs get very aggressive during mating season.
