Abilities: The Overmind has control over all infected creatures within range, using them as extensions of itself. It can emit powerful psychic waves, causing hallucinations and disorienting the player. Its tendrils lash out, and clusters of Spawn burst from its body when damaged.
Weaknesses: Players must destroy several central nodes, where the Overmind’s “consciousness” is concentrated. These nodes are protected by waves of infected, requiring the player to battle through hordes while managing limited resources. Only intense, sustained damage can kill the Overmind.
