After the release of the original Zephyrus, Phobos Consolidated Robotics Co. Ltd. was the undisputed leader in mech design. Other mech companies scrambled to catch up, quickly releasing their own drone carrier models to varying degrees of success.
Each carrier mech could scrap several times its cost in tanks and not even have to get inside their cannon range. The Zephyrus II can hold 3000 drones and its weapons are buffed significantly over the original. It also features a boarding pod that detaches from the mech and becomes a rover.
