Terror of Alaska - Beyond the Burning Skulls

The first fires that you had seen in distance were the Burning Skulls, which signaled that hell had come for mankind. Beyond the skulls? A grisly sight of a once peaceful winter wonderland now broken & lit aflame. A waterfall had been turned into a lava flow from the mountainside, forming a river of fire into the wasteland. Blackened spikes of ice arose from the ground with holes of fire under the piles of rubble from broken stones. Charred wagons, burned corpses, dead animals & the poor creatures being burned alive in the river of lava as they fell in from the shattering ground were in sight. There was no telling of how many living things had died since this began, but they deserved to be avenged just as much as the fallen soldiers that came to defend this place. Now one would understand why so many in the stronghold just miles from here couldn't leave, for this sight was too saddening for them to leave without having regrets.
