Lycomedes pushes Theseus off the cliff

Theseus could not believe it! He thought he was well past his years of finding a lover, but his servitude to the king two-years his junior has unexpectedly blossomed into a deep connection. His growing affection for the King had led him to eat better, and get stronger, and his rebuilt musculature showcased his renewed outlook on life.

Lycomedes saw Theseus's transformation and feared the worst. He now could see Theseus as that legendary hero in his prime...that King who fought many wars in the front lines...the King with great ambition. Theseus knew his seat on the throne could easily be usurped by a man with this much power.

There was only one thing Lycomedes could do...

He led Theseus up a cliff under the pretense of a scenic stroll to view the beautiful island of Skyros. Atop the peak, Lycomedes kissed Theseus, leading him closer and closer to the edge...

As they looked into each other's eyes, Lycomedes's sweet smile turned into a snarl as he shoves Theseus off the cliff...
