And there in the bushes out of sight are some lions! Much better for animals to live wild and free versus living in zoos. One is a life fraught with dangers and the other is a life of boredom.
I know there are a few really good zoos (not really the right word) dedicated to preserving endangered species and with well- thought out enrichment programs but not that many. Have you ever visited the game parks, Charlie as the southern part of Africa has a number of them? I'm aware that some game parks, not just in Africa, that have touted how good they are have tried to hide how they operated. Have you an opinion or know much about game parks near you - well, with a couple hundred kilometers radius?
