In the periphery of the Eminiar system, orbiting like a silent guardian, lies the moon of Kethos. Once a hub of thriving mining colonies, now it stands as a husk of its former self, ravaged by the war's collateral tides. The settlements that dot its surface have morphed into bastions of the weary, the defiant, and the hopeful.
As we descended into Kethos' atmosphere, our ship's lights pierced the gloom, casting long shadows across the wreckage of forgotten skirmishes. The air was thick with whispers of rebellion and the scent of ionized metal. We touched down on the outskirts of what was once a grand agora, now a marketplace of scavenged dreams.
We stepped out, our boots crunching on debris. Our presence was a risk, for the lawless did not take kindly to strangers, but necessity often dances with danger. We were there not as conquerors, but as heralds of hope, seeking alliance in a place where trust was as scarce as verdant fields.
