I was on a construction site many years back and there in a puddle (from the night before) lay a large Dragonfly nearly 5 inches in length. It could not fly because its wings were wet. I carefully picked it up and placed it onto the sawhorse where the Dragonfly could dry off in the sun.
It was nearly an hour before it took flight, but before leaving it landed on my shoulder for just a moment as if saying goodbye.
