Rinsing off the sand

The unexpected stop at the beach had been the best part of their trip so far. Until they made it onto the beach and saw the sign. "DANGER: RIP CURRENTS-STAY OUT OF THE WATER" Jen was crushed! She couldn't wait to get out to the water and play in the waves. Sure she hadn't planned on this and it was a little bit colder than she would have liked, but she didn't care. But instead they could only stay at the water's edge. Her boots and bottom of her jeans did get wet and as they made their way back across the beach they became covered with sand. That's when she spied the beach shower and had an idea. As she rinsed the sand from her boots and jeans she clearly was getting much wetter than she needed to and quickly encouraged Amie to join her. Laughing and giggling, it didn't take long for them to end up completely soaked as they played in the beach shower making up for not being able to play in the waves during their beach surprise stop.
