Assessing the new framework

After the manager held his briefing and the team leader showed up with his proposal, Jenni is still worried that someone else might pop up: there’s no telling how the manager at the partner level will react to the new situation. The question is whether she even knows about it; the other question is whether she cares. She’s a fairly direct woman; she regularly calls in whoever she needs. Now, if Jenni’s forced to cooperate with the team leader—and is thus placed under the manager’s direct supervision—but the partner continues to assign tasks to her directly, then from her perspective, this doesn’t represent any positive change.
