Eris is the greek goddess of strife and discord. When she is not invited to an important wedding she decides to have revenge on the other gods by putting them against each other. She does this by handing a golden apple to the groom and telling him to give it to whom he thinks is most beautiful between Hera, Aphrodite and Athena. After a long discussion the gods tell prince Paris of Troy to pick. He chooses Aphrodite, but in exchange she must let him marry the most beautiful girl in the world. Only problem is that this girl is highly protected by her husband and stealing her from him means a big war.
