Since you asked about prompts: one site I use to generate prompts and picture descriptions is at imageprompt dot org/describe-image
You can use custom questions, and one I've been using lately is "Assuming this is a physical artwork, please describe in detail the specific techniques and methods used to create the artistic effects seen here."
I also like to upload pics and then ask it to describe the image in detail as if it were an abstract drawing (or painting or art installation or whatever) without reference to whatever is actually in the picture. I don't usually use these descriptions as they are, but I love to mix-and-match bits of them to see what happens.
