It can be a representation of anger, why not? More generally, there are other vile instincts that some people knowingly hide and who feel no remorse and others who find themselves confronted with their conscience, face their own humanity. It is this inner struggle that I wanted to represent.

Yes, facing our own humanity is a highly complex and emotional journey... and a totally ongoing one.  Truly, these deeply personal inner struggles are ones that we all must experience.
