As a young gay man, rejection often felt twice as hard because I had 10% of the population to choose from, and the support of my family wasn't always guaranteed. Thankfully, my father was very supportive, and a hug after a breakup was something I could expect. This creation imagines what I might have been able to expect if I'd come out earlier in my life.
