😆…this came about after a conversation with Cannonball67 about me putting tinfoil on my windows during heatwaves (we’re having one now…don;t faint - we do actually have them sometimes in England!😂 )..he’s said there’s a prompt in there somewhere….😆

I've never heard of anyone putting foil over the windows in a heatwave, but I can certainly understand the logic behind it.

Also, I didn't realize before that you are in England. I have family relatives based near Southend. I haven't been across the pond, myself, since the Summer of 2011, but I dream of making time to head back there someday, preferably sometime during the Premier League season.

This is only one of the symptoms of a cPTSD (as a result of one-time or recurrent traumatisation). - And IED is also one of the  symptoms of several kinds of disorders. The new EMDR-trauma-therapies are helpful, unfortunately there are at the moment not many skilled therapists for good EMDR-therapy. - One of our friends has these problems, bec. of recurrent trauma and neglect in childhood, by emotional unavailable caregivers. EMDR is a good trauma-therapy, it takes time and effort, and patience, but it's worth it.
