Formorian

Fomorians are sinister beings. They are widely believed to be faeries, but all other faeries deny this. They have a human form that is darkly beautiful, but their true form is a 3 to 4 meter tall, gnarled and spined humanoid with goat-like facial features. They have very powerful magical abilities, and are immensely powerful spell casters. Long ago they fought against the Tuatha de Danann, who eventually defeated them and conquered the realm of Annwn. A single fomorion is probably the match of any other faerie with the exception of Oberon, Titania, and the Tuatha de Danann themselves.
