Actually not - when galaxies collide, most stellar planetary systems survive.

And new velocity estimates of Andromeda suggest most of it will pass by.

i would assume even a partial collision regardless of what parts of the galaxies collide, they would spiral on a different trajectory through the cosmos causing the planetary systems within to have an altered path. just a guess as I'm no expert.  

Apparently not - solar systems are bound quite tightly like an atomic nucleus, you can mess with the electron shell probability functions - ionize or bond, and the nucleus remains intact (unless a "direct hit" occurs.)

Our solar system could be ejected from the milky way and not really have any profound differences. (There was a recent claim that the times we crossed the galactic plane triggered ice ages, but personally that is maybe publish or perish slop).

I once did a probability calc for any MW solar system being disrupted by an Andromeda star close approach - and I seem to recall expected number of disruptions was less than 10 - will check with AI ,,,
