178/ Glitch

After some searching, Anubis found a glitching structure in one of the fences. He knelt down in front of it and examined it carefully.

Ashildr, standing a few steps away, watching for any nosy drones coming their way, tried to catch a glimpse of what he was doing.

The fences seemed like endless walls of turquoise, spanning from horizon to horizon. Such a vast estate. How big was this, really? The city had probably gobbled up most of the surrounding park area in the last decades, but it still remained... huge. How could one family amass such wealth? She thought of the millions of poor souls cooped in the towering skyscrapers, like chicken in their... coop. She shuddered.

When she looked over to Anubis fumbling with the glitch, she caught a reflection of him in the fence. For the fraction of a second she thought she had noticed two other figures in the reflection, but when she turned around, there was no one to be seen.
