a little quick vent. everyone (my classmates, specifically) are so quiet and shy all the time. it feels like i’m the one showing off more often than everyone else. if they hate me, am i being annoying? did i complain too much about my classmates for being quiet and boring like NPCs? or is it just my lack of sleep + overthinking? and the fact that i have a presentation coming up means that everyone will not be paying attention & they’ll have cold reactions towards me and my work. i’ve wasted so much time and dedication for nothing. all this sympathy is really a knife, tbh.

I see overthinking patterns, sometimes I think we all do it. Lack of sleep definitely takes its toll. I think we also are most critical of ourselves and how others may view us.
I highly doubt they hate you, hate is a pretty strong word, but I also doubt that you would even be seen as annoying either. Even so, Koko is right, you can only have faith in being true to yourself, being true is the happiest path in life.
The persons reaction that matters most is your own, but I fully understand where you are coming from. Wanting to appease others is natural thing that we sorta grow up wanting and doing so it's hard to stop feeling like we should do something for others to avoid say "cold reactions." I think in the current moment we can feel like we are wasting time, but later in life look back and see it in a different better light.
I hope it all works out for you and you get that much needed sleep. It's amazing what a good days rest can do for the soul.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this Do 🩵🫂 all I can say is don't let others put you down. They're not in control of your life, and they shouldn't be the reason why you should stop being your best. You are you, and you get to do what you want, and others can't say a thing. Express yourself however you want, and if people don't like it, then they have a problem, and they just don't like it because they can tell how good and awesome you are!
