Then you don't know what a blueprint is. A blueprint is basically a construction diagram. Explain how this is that.

You're taking a literal interpretation. Op didn't. Op won.
And this is a 1:1 scale plan during it鈥檚 application. And that鈥檚 done with smaller objects literally and each and any in a figurative way. Symbolising that is far above boring technical prints.
And if nitpicking, there are no blueprints any more in 98% of the planet, they are if any on white paper or computer screens only.
You've said nothing I don't already know. A mathematical equation for an apple is not a construction diagram, which is what a "blueprint" basically is. The challenge was for "construction diagrams" aka blueprints.

Picasso has opened people mind about what artistic composition are more than a hundred years earlier. A lot of people still consider today his pictures are not artistic pieces but pictures drawed by young children. Open your Mind, buddy, we are here to play with AI and make mentalities evolve, not to replace human workers with AI : a lot of blueprint drawers will still have work to do and we will appreciate this by making funny pictures that turn around reality and usual conceptions.
The challenge states "detaied & intricate...get creative...imagine future technology" I did not see "construction diagrams" in the challenge blurb, but this is absolutely a construction diagram, an artist's rendering. I saw nothing about gatekeeping how people create or vote.
A Blueprint is a construction diagram. That you don't know that pretty much explains everything. Nothing in the world gets built without a blueprint. And most people who know what a blueprint is, also know that they are no longer blue. Your house, car, vacuum cleaner, you name it, had a blueprint showing how to build it. Ive drawn blueprints for NIKE shoes. One more thing, I'm not talking about the illustration directly above but the submitted entry. This is actually what the blurb said..."Today's challenge tasks you with creating realistic-looking blueprints of structures, machines, and inventions.馃搻 Get creative with the designs and imagine what futuristic, innovative technology could look like.馃挱 The point of the challenge is to make your blueprints as realistic as possible..." Im out.

The blurb about the theme is very specific.

My entry did hit Top 5% but I really had some struggles getting it to look like a blueprint before getting to my final entry
