Well, I guess I am aging my self, but I remember when the movie came out and my family just moved to San Diego (where the movie was made and themed after).

The house Kelly McGillis' character had by the beach - is really a house. We were able to drive by it a few times.

The bar - is a real bar. We went inside and the piano is really there and so is the Juke Box (not sure if they are the original though). Many pilots would come in to eat or get some food. We would see them from time to time. Neat stuff!
