The Ikia'Ophelion-series are the first battlecruiser-class vessel commissioned by the UASDF, boasting over twenty heavy guns and a crew capacity exceeding 6,000, designed for long-range fleet command and orbital siege warfare. Its name—meaning “solo warrior” in Aeorisian—was earned when an incomplete unit, launched from Nakiiao Sun'Karai Spaceport with half its weapons, a skeleton crew, and partially-installed engines, single-handedly defended the shipyard against a Thalassan raider assault. Despite its crippled state, the Ophelion held the line for hours, buying time for reinforcements and saving the entire sector from collapse.
