God of the Corrupted, god of Corruption. He created a ritual to temporarily hold Artherk's essence in a corporeal being. At the climax of this ritual, he took possession of the elven king's body and attacked Artherk's physical form. Before Gluriurl could deliver the final blow, Lothar the Righteous appeared in the form of a great dragon with purple scales and defeated Gluriurl, who was already weakened by the battle. Gluriurl's essence was captured by Lothar in his own heart.

Gluriurl's heart is the only one known to have retained some magical energy. This phenomenon gives some reason to suspect that Gluriurl is not really dead, but rather in a kind of slumber, waiting to be brought back to life.
