In the world I am building, this sickle was used by a rebel god in ancient times to castrate his father, the god of the sky, so that he might not produce more gods. The organs turned to sand and fell to a place on the edge of the Pit of Hell and became a great desert. This desert became the home of the rebel god afterword, and he made it his own world. To the people of this desert, this sickle is one of the most sacred objects in existence, and has been wielded by great heroes throughout history. I am undecided as to what abilities this sickle might have, except turning decapitated parts and defeated enemies into sand. I am open to any comments about potential abilities this sickle might also have. Thank you!
