I love the flowers' symbolic beauty, the fact that even when the world seems hopeless, they still grow, a patch of light in a darkening world.
I think this image screams optimism in its choice of subject ( sunflowers growing up out of the ruins ) and title ( i.e. "Hope" ). :) It also has technical ( resolution ) and composition ( contrast of life vs ruin ) elements going for it. One can even argue that the colour palette ( yellow and green of life vs the browns of the ruins ) argues for "Hope", too. Overall, I love it! Well done.
