Lovely! Did you watch the whole ceremony? It was very grand!

So it was on at 4 am my time, which is when my husband put on the television - we both couldn't sleep. I really got into it when I saw the boats traveling down the Seine and then watched through Celine Dion's performance. 

I thought Celine was amazing, as always. You wouldn't know she has been sick. I loved the rendition of "Imagine." That light show was spectacular, and the torch lighting with the hot air balloon rising into the air was like nothing I had ever seen! What was your favorite part?

Inspired by the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris. What I love about the games is that it brings the world together, and it's the place where so many dreams come true for the athletes who participate, and they got to the Olympics because of the people back at home who believed in them.
