50. Khahandahar: a royal confrontation

Captain's log. Day 174. Wearily I sit down in front of the prison door, expecting to deal with a confrontation or worse... torture. I feared that the outcome might be the end of me and my companions. Being so impressed and excited about the discovery of the underground city, I have lead my troops right into a dire situation. Much to my surprise, a young woman walked in. Regal stride, soft skin and blue eyes brighter than the glaciers found on Saltula. She sits down on the other side of the bars, her golden crown ringing softly as the embedded crystals brush against each other.
