I didn't have any celebrities in mind when I was first writing prompts for the basic idea, but I ended up using the face of Rita Hayworth for the sorceress, and the face of Stewart Granger for the paladin. They were both big-name movie stars back in the mid-20th Century, and I decided they looked right for the characters I was trying to develop.
