"I'd heard him playing with his dogs. I took a few steps down the stairs until I could see into the living room. And there I sat, enjoying the spectacle.
"Muse and Scally circled his yoga mat while Henry raised his legs and torso into a V. Every time he sat up, one of them would push him down or tip him over. My tummy muscles hurt just watching them. He rolled about the floor with them, and they barked and pounced on him. Muse broke off to acknowledge me, but Henry was so busy wrestling with Scally that he failed to notice. She rejoined the mêlée that stopped only when I burst into laughter too."
