A resident of Lower Reckwoods, a village known for its criminal activities and sophisticated school of kill & robe, Liam, shortened from "William" was involved in the said studies from the very childhood. Smarter than his peers, though, he kept asking some existential questions like "Why? How does the family of the killed or robbed one feel? Is it why we were put in this world?", making his notorious father doubt the hero was actually his son.
Growing up, Liam saw more & more injustice, especially from those he was doomed to call "family". Not knowing how to educate them, he taught himself to read and began travelling with the forest gangs and tried to help them to atone whenever a tiny glimpse of light shone down their souls.
Having helped dozens of bad guys to find their peace, Liam spent his last years in a monastery in the far away north. Freezing and being ill for the rest of his days, Liam could only think this was the payment for all the sins he had forgiven.
